We are specialized in “Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu” or “Gracie Jiu-Jitsu,” a grappling art that was popularized in America by the legendary Gracie family.

This training system known as “The Gentle Art,” concentrates on controlling your opponents by using angles, leverage, and superior body positioning, in a way that you can control your opponent without having to hurt him with punches and kicks. For this reason, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is nowadays the most used martial art in law enforcement.

Our BJJ system provides tools where a small person can have an advantage over a much larger opponent by using angles and leverage. That is why we are well known as the most effective martial art in the world.

Where are we located?

We have two locations to better serve the northern Virginia demand for this incredible martial arts system. We are located in Woodbridge at 12608 Darby Brooke Court and in Crystal City we are inside the Gateway Sport & Health Club.

Classes are open to men, women, teens, and now kids (Woodbridge only) of all skills levels. If you are in the northern Virginia area and would like to learn realistic self defense in a relaxed, yet challenging, warm environment, please come and attend a free week-long trial. We welcome all martial artists, regardless of style and previous training experience.
